ROBIN ELKINS

Robin Elkins is a prolific inventor, scientist, engineer, and award winning photographer. He is a provider of a wide range of services as a design engineering consultant, lecturer, and new age artist. Probably most well known for his invention of the first patented digital audio recording system (U.S. Patent #4,124,773), this invention covers voicemail and internet access to digital audio - it is an invention made when Elkins was only 18 years old.

His other issued U.S. Patents combine novel derivations of energy, communications, or security technologies. There is an extensive List of Licensees to one or more of his Patents including Microsoft, ATT, Sony, IBM, Siemens, DEC, WANG, and AOL, which were the subject of articles in "Fortune Magazine" and "the Wall Street Journal".

As a LASER designer and electronics technologist, he holds certifications from M.I.T., Georgia Tech, and MCI-SONY. Among his latest projects are the New Instrument of Music (NIM) and a new art form and medium which creates vibrant and striking images called "the Magic Box". These and many other projects are developed in a well equipped workshop and laboratory in Central Florida.
